Day 02

Srinagar to Gulmarg

After breakfast leave for Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 mts. above the sea level. The distance of 130 kms will be covered in about 5 hours. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feets and dominates the entire region.

After Breakfast, we check out of the Hotel in Gulmarg and proceed to Pahalgam. On arrival check in to the Hotel. Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) on the National Highway 1A. After reaching Pahalgam we visit Kashmir Valley, Deban, Baisaran on your own by Pony and also visit Aru / Betaab valley Chandanwari (at your own cost). srinagar -Sonmarg

After Breakfast, full day excursion of Sonmarg which is one of the most beautiful drives from Srinagar. Sonmarg is at 98kms from Srinagar. It will take about 3 hours to reach Sonmarg. Sonmarg is the last stop of Kashmir District. From here starts the territory of Ladakh. Situated at an altitude of 2743 m above sea level, Sonmarg is absolutely true to its name, which means 'Meadow of Gold'. The moment you enter Sonmarg, the first thing that you will notice will be the snow-covered mountain that forms the backdrop of the town. Covered with alpine trees from all sides, Sonmarg has few of the loveliest flower collections in Jammu and Kashmir. In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS.
The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
